A. The fuel saver unit fits in the air hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter. You will see a hose coming off the engine housing going toward the air box. Often between the air box and the engine is what is called an 'air flow meter.' (Optional) To reset computer. Disconnect Pos. & Neg. terminal on battery and reconnect. This will reset the computer.

A. It is not mandatory to reset the M.A.F. sensor after installation because most vehices' onboard computers recalibrate and readjust over time to accommodate for changes in the airflow. If you want to see more immediate results, you can reset your M.A.F. sensor: 1. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery terminals, disconnecting the negative (black) cable first. 2. Leave them disconnected for at least 10-15 minutes. 3. Reconnect the cables back to the battery terminals, connecting the positive (red) cable first. 4. Start your engine and let it idle for at least 2-3 minutes.
