Q. Cyclone 2 & 3 Q. Will the unit void my new car warranty?
A. No! It is illegal for a car manufacturer to void the manufacturer's warranty for installing an aftermarket device, particularly since our product carries the CARB number.

Q. My car has Electronic Fuel Injection. Where do I install the fuel saver?
A. The fuel saver unit fits in the air hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter. You will see a hose coming off the engine housing going toward the air box. Often between the air box and the engine is what is called an 'air flow meter.' (Optional) To reset computer. Disconnect Pos. & Neg. terminal on battery and reconnect. This will reset the computer.

Q. My car has an aftermarket intake. What fuel saver can I use?
A. Most aftermarket intakes that consist of a metal pipe and cone filter require a ki-75. To ensure proper fit, measure the inside diameter of the pipe at the end nearest the filter.

Q. What is the Cyclone 2 & 3?
A. It is a stainless steel, non-moving air-swirling device that inserts into the air intake hose for E.F.I. engines or drops inside the air filter housing on carbureted/T.B.I. engines.

Q. How does it work?
A. The unit redirects and swirls incoming air into the engine creating two positive effects: 1. By creating a directional airflow, turbulence is eliminated and air is moved more efficiently into the engine. 2. The swirling air effect helps atomize the fuel with the air inside the engine leading to a more even fuel/air mixture and a more efficient burn.

Q. What is the life expectancy of the unit?
A. The unit is made of stainless steel and has no moving parts; therefore, it will not deteriorate once properly installed. It will last for the life of the vehicle and is completely maintenance-free.

Q. What kind of results can I expect?
A. The results will vary, depending on your type of vehicle. In most cases, you will notice a 5-15% fuel mileage increase and a 5-12 HP gain with the unit installed.

Q. Is the unit easy to install?
A. In most applications, it takes no more than 5-10 minutes to install the unit. We have supplemental installation guides to assist you in special cases that require additional attention.

Q. Does the unit work with aftermarket intake systems?
A. Yes, it works with aftermarket intake systems and generally produces better results in fuel mileage savings and HP gains than it would in a stock intake system.

Q. Will the unit work better if I install two units in the same intake hose?
A. A. Preliminary tests indicate slightly better results with two units installed in opposite ends of the intake hose. All posted test results were achieved with one unit only. Note: Some vehicles require two units because their intake systems have two separate intake hoses leading into the engine.

Q. Do I need to reset my Mass Air Flow Sensor?
A. It is not mandatory to reset the M.A.F. sensor after installation because most vehices' onboard computers recalibrate and readjust over time to accommodate for changes in the airflow. If you want to see more immediate results, you can reset your M.A.F. sensor: 1. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery terminals, disconnecting the negative (black) cable first. 2. Leave them disconnected for at least 10-15 minutes. 3. Reconnect the cables back to the battery terminals, connecting the positive (red) cable first. 4. Start your engine and let it idle for at least 2-3 minutes. You have completed the steps to reset the M.A.F. sensor and should notice results within 1 to 2 tank fills.
